Terms of Service

1. Who you're contracting with

pd2ppt (the "Service") is operated by Urban Beautiq LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

pd2ppt lets you convert PDF documents into PowerPoint (.pptx) presentations using selectable templates. We provide a free tier with limited output and paid plans for unlimited or single-conversion access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including infringing copyright or other rights of third parties;
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or that you do not have the right to process;
• Probe, scan, scrape, or attempt to bypass any security or rate-limiting mechanism;
• Upload malware or attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the PDFs you upload and the PPTX files we generate from them. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your uploads solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, templates, and branding, is owned by Urban Beautiq LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not reverse engineer or redistribute the Service.

6. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Stripe. Stripe is our payment processor for all orders. Stripe provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, and refund mechanics are governed by Stripe's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but make no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or abuse, or repeated policy violations.

9. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
